Ministries: Children's Ministry

Ministry Description:

The Children's Ministry at Grace Church provides care for children from infancy through the primary grades during our Sunday morning service. By learning to worship the Lord through song, prayer, and the study of His Word, kids have a lot of fun!

Curriculum

The Sunday school curriculum is meant to point children to Christ, our Savior and Lord. The children learn of their need to trust completely in God's grace and mercy for eternal life. Short questions and answers about God and the Bible are introduced in the classroom to teach the children the wonderful truths of the Bible. The children are eager to learn through a "questions and answers" approach because it makes God's Word accessible and comprehensible. Scripture proof texts are learned and memorized so children can "be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks [them] to give the reason for the hope [they] have [in Christ]...with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15).

Purpose:

To provide loving care and the Word of God to the children of Grace Church and the community.
